The U of Reddit is not an affiliate of Reddit.com (yet). There is extensive help from http://ureddit.com/help, and a variety of open source tools, instructions from blogs to make your course offerings popular. A “teacher admin panel” link can manage  classes and send messages to everyone in the class. Every student is automatically given an email address (their username @ureddit.com) and have the choice to set up a forwarding address, responses go directly to your @ureddit mailbox.
