712 S. Brandywine Yard Sale

Neighborhood network news is often posted from photocopied paper to announce a missing cat, lost dog, or a yard sale.  On Saturday, September 18 at 9am there will be a yard sale on South Brandywine, off of West Nields Street.  Majority of the time the signs will be taken down soon after the cat or dog is found or the yard sale is over.  This week, on Thursday, to give everyone a heads up about the yard sale, large pink hand made signs were posted to telephone polls next to the street as well as along other side streets so the neighbors would be aware.  However, I saw an overzealous West Chester Borough employee drive around to take down the signs and throw them in the back of her little truck around 9:30am on Friday.  I’m sure the signs would disappear by noon on Saturday following the yard sale.  Does West Chester really need to be this hostile???
